dbx-tv President Les Tyler was invited by Cadence/Tensilica to discuss his topic “Clever DSP Improves Sound of Small Speakers” at their IP ToT seminar, held May 25th in Taiwan. Mr. Tyler’s presentation addressed the difficulties of producing good sound with shrinking speaker sizes and budgetary constraints. Afterwards, he conducted a comparison demo using small TV speakers with dbx-tv’s Total Technology DSP enabled and disabled, showing the significant difference dbx-tv’s IP can make with regard to clarity, surround sound and consistent volume levels.
